DESIGN INSPIRATION
For Mimi, the freedom to travel is one of life’s greatest gifts. Her journeys across cultures and continents have shaped her worldview, inspiring her to see beauty from new perspectives. These experiences often leave their imprint on her collections, where subtle references to place, memory, and movement can be found.
Beyond travel, Mimi draws deeply from her love of typography, architecture, and design. While studying graphic design at Parsons, she was captivated by the bold, graphic forms of her favorite typefaces and learned to appreciate the delicate balance between positive and negative space. This understanding of clean lines, proportion, and structure became the foundation of her signature collection, Piece, and continues to inform her design sensibility today.
